Contracts Engineer (Vacany Filled)
The key role for this person is to work as a co-ordinator within the Contracts Department so as to assist in the growth of the contract section, improve efficiency of this area and enhance customer satisfaction with the Kent Stainless organisation.
Job Description
- Preparation and pricing of quotations is a key area of responsibility
- On-site measurements of proposed projects
- Liaise with on-site engineers, architects and contractors
- Liaise with the site supervisor for site fitting of contracts
- Ensure that all site safety requirements are being adhered to and that all of the Kent procedures for sie work are being carried out
- Programme of upcoming work and contracts
- Accurate reporting of upcoming jobs
Fitters/Fabricators (Vacancy Filled)
Applicants must be qualified by FAS or equivalent with 2 to 3 years experience. Also, applicants should be interested in developing their capabilities in our hi-skilled Stainless Steel and Mild Steel Workshops.
Production Operators (Vacancy Filled)
Applicants should have engineering experience, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided in all aspects of the position.
CNC Operator (Vacancy Filled)
Applicants must have two years experience in CNC. Also, knowledge of sheetmetal work and Stainless Steel fabrication is an advantage.
Proposals Engineer (Vacancy Filled)
You will be responsible for the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for sludge treatment and liquid/solids separation systems in the home and export markets. Applicants should have a third level qualification in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering and 5 years experience in tendering, management or design in the water or wastewater treatment industry.
Project Engineer (Vacancy Filled)
For the mechanical design and development of wastewater treatment equipment and preparation of contract drawings. Experience in Electrical contracts would be an advantage. Applicants should have at least 3-5 years experience preferably in the Wastewater Treatment Area. Applicants with a track record of specialist machine building will also be considered. Excellent working knowledge of Autocad is essential.
Technical Service (Vacancy Filled)
Applicants should have good technical competency preferably in Belt/Press Thickener area. Excellent administration and managerial skills are necessary. Good experience in customer relations is essential.
Contract Engineer (Vacancy Filled)
Candidate must have a Mechanical Engineer / Civil Engineer qualification with more than 3 to 5 years experience, good knowledge of on-site measuring and liasing with manufacturing. Proven experience in project management of site installations necessary. Candidate must have compatibility in estimating and pricing of projects and be able to prepare and review working drawings to a standard for production purposes. Good knowledge of purchasing, dealing with suppliers and sourcing materials if required. Must be able to review and critically analyse tenders and contracts. Experience in Autocad, MS Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
