Lusail - City of the future

Kent Stainless win major export contract in the Middle East 

2011 sees Kent Stainless export approximately 200 tonnes of stainless steel products to Lusail City in Qatar. Lusail is a city which is currently being built in order for Qatar to host the 2022 World Cup. 2 members of the Kent Sales team travelled to the Middle East at short notice in Feburary, only to return home to Wexford with a signed contract for a multi million euro order and a secured cash deposit. Kent Stainless competed against other fabrication companies in Germany, Italy and the USA and in the end it was our production capabilites and our flexibility which won us the contract. Kent started production for this contract in Febuary and have sucessfully completed this project within a 6 month deadline.
