Kent Stainless were nominated by Waterford City Council as a preferred supplier of design services and manufacturing capabilities for this prestigious contract in Waterford City. "The Viking Triangle" is the part of the city surrounded by the original 10th century fortifications, which is triangle in shape with its apex at Reginald's Tower. Though this was once the site of a thriving Viking city it is now a quiet and tranquil area, dominated by narrow streets, medieval architecture, and civic spaces.
The overall design of the features signage incorporated the use of many different materials including stainless steel, heavy duty digitally printed glass panels and hammered bronze cladding. Kent Stainless worked closely with both the client and architect to achieve an intergrated design which matches the historical significance of the area.
