Process Waste Collection Drain KPWCD265/4”

The KPWCD265/4” is a Process Waste Collection Drain designed for install below a Dispensing Isolator.

The basic body of this drain is the same as our KVCR265 Sealed Cleanroom Drain – with a sealed cover including a funnel. This has a point level switch mounted on a side inlet and a ball valve overhead.

Waste liquid from the Dispensing Isolator can fl ow through the top inlet and into the stainless steel funnel above ground. This funnel discharges directly into the sealed drain below ground. The point level switch to the side monitors any liquid accumulation in that funnel and provides protection against overfi ll and backfl ow.

In most cases a 4” or 6”SCH10 outlet is required because these are most popular with American Multinational Pharmaceutical companies who have scheduled stainless steel pipework to connect to, but this can easily be substituted for a 110mm or 160mm if being connected to polypropylene or PVC pipework.

This product is generally supplied without an internal foul air trap or debris basket
