Sealed Gas Tight Process Waste Drain

The KVCR265/4”RD Gully is a Round Body, Round Top/Bottom Outlet Gully for Heavy Duty Areas with High Flow Rates. This is a sealed cleanroom gully with a strong positive seal created by machining away a 10mm (0.4”) groove from a 20mm (0.8”) top plate. A 10mm (0.4”) top plate with a recessed ‘o-ring’ creates the seal.

This top plate is then removable with a heavy duty suction cup available as an accessory. They are designed for use primarily in Pharmaceutical factories. They can be used in both light duty and very heavy duty trafficked areas (sealed gullies are most often used in laboratories or cleanrooms which are limited to pedestrian traffic – however the 10mm (0.4”) top plate makes it possible to drive heavy factory traffic over these gullies). The KVCR265/4”RD standard gully takes 10mm (0.4”) thick sealed gratings but 10mm (0.4”) slotted and perforated gratings can also be used.

In most cases a 4” or 6” SCH10 outlet is required because these are most popular with American Multinational Pharmaceutical companies who have scheduled stainless steel pipework to connect to, but this can easily be substituted for a 110mm or 160mm outlet pipe. It is trapped as standard with the Kent Bell Trap on most European projects.

For the North American market, there is no internal trap – this is created by a P or S bend further below the drain.

Plattendeckel mit O-Ringdichtung, geringstes Spaltmaß zwischen Deckelplatte und Ablaufrand. Ablaufrand aus stabilem Vollmaterial. Der 20mm (0.8″) starken Deckplatte wird Eine 10mm (0.4″) großen Nut entfernt und mit einer vertieften O-Ringdichtung versehen als Geruchsverschluss. [Wasser- (Klasse Wt) und geruchsdicht (Klasse Ot) [Prüfdruck = 5 mbar] nach EN 1253-4. If applicable] Güte 304 (1.4301) oder 316 (1.4401) Edelstahl nach BS EN 10088.
