Our focus in the Transport sector is on Stainless Steel Street Furniture for Bus Stops, Light Rail and Railway Stations and Airport Terminals
Starting internally most of the rail terminals or airports with a hot kitchen will require Stainless Steel Drainage for the Commercial Kitchen. This will require Stainless Steel Channel Drainage, some Floor Gullies and Grease Interceptors. These Grease Traps can be installed at construction stage or Stainless Steel Grease Separators can be retrofitted into the restaurant kitchen.
On the roof the drainage is usually a Stainless Steel Scupper Drain, Parapet Drain which may feed down into a Rainwater Shoe or Downspout Nozzle.
Finally at the end of the project we often provide the Stainless Steel Street Furniture including Wayfinding, Flag Poles, CCTV Cameras, Planters, Bollards and in many cases stainless steel sculptures
All Restaurant and Foodservice projects require grease separators and Railway Stations and Airport Terminals will serve thousands of meals per day.
Large Grease Traps must be sized individually for the correct volume of meals, along with feed in from Commercial Kitchen Drainage. We manufacture external recessed Grease Traps, Internal Recessed Grease Interceptors and Internal Freestanding Stainless Steel Grease Separators/Traps.
Our stainless steel drainage channels used internally are usually the commercial range channel as we are often restricted to pedestrian traffic. Mop Trays and Tipping Trays for Bain Marie discharges are popular in the food catering business.
On Railway Platforms we have Heelproof Mesh Gratings on Drain Channels – where the channels themselves will be stainless steel or from polymer concrete.
Internally in the station or airport we have mainly pedestrian only traffic stainless steel gullies or floor drains. We have similar size stainless steel gullies but with thicker top plates for car parks or warehouses with a heavier loading requirement.
On the platforms or KV215 Drains have heelproof lockdown gratings and will withstand pedestrian traffic as well as heavy duty maintenance vehicles
Most Rail or Airport projects require mainly pedestrian traffic only indoors and our Commercial Range Access Cover is ideal. As well as Double Sealed Stainless Steel Manhole Covers, we have Brass Trim Access Covers to match a flooring scheme or other nearby installations.
Our Fire Rated Access Covers were specifically deigned for the Lusail Metro project in Qatar and have a 2-3 hour fire rating tested and certified independently by Exova Warringtonfire.
On the perimeter of the building we supply Scupper Drains or Parapet Drains to the roof and these feed down into Rainwater Shoes or Downspout Nozzles.
At the front entrance either our Door Threshold Channel or a Curved Façade Slot Drain is typically used at the revolving doors.
We have a full suite of platform furniture for railway stations and light rail platforms including stainless steel shelters, balustrades, signs.
Internally we focus on Tactile Warning Strips and Studs along with poster cases and notice boards
