Process Waste Lift Station with Skid

This tank was manufactured by Kent Stainless in 2023. This is a single contained tank and formed part of a 2 Tank Process Waste Stream explained further on page 20 which also included a Potent Waste Storage Tank, A Skid System for the Potent Waste Storage Tank, a pH Dosing Skid and a Tanker O -Loading system.
This tank measures 3000mm (118in) long x 1488mm (58in) wide x 1600mm ( 63in) high. It included a Walk-on Lid for maintenance access where pumps and components were mounted, and an Access Stairs and Platform which measured a total of 5676mm (223.5in) long x 4826mm (190in) wide x 4360mm (172in) high. These dimensions were agreed with the client during the detailed design phase and are fully bespoke to suit site requirements. Empty shipping weight was 3,800kg (8,378 lbs). This tank has an overall design pressure of 0.5bar. Overall volume was 6,000 litres (1,585 US Gallons) , with a working volume of 4,000 Litres (1,056 US Gallons). This system also included full Electrical and Automation packages, all delivered under Kent Stainless scope. This allowed for full ‘Wet’ Testing to be carried out during the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), where water was used to simulate the tank levels, and the control system was fully tested as per user requirements.

This Potent Waste Storage Tank was manufactured as phase 2 of a Potent Waste Stream in 2024. A 6,000 Litre Waste Lift Station (covered on page 10) fed OEB5 waste material into this 70,000 litre Potent Waste Storage Tank for treatment which was then disposed of elsewhere, by o oading into a road tanker. This tanks measures 8276mm long x 3296mm wide x 3104mm high (326in x 130in x 122in). Empty shipping weight was 13,600kg (30,000 lbs) Overall volume was 70,000 litres (18,500 US Gallons) and working volume was slightly smaller as this was a top loaded tank. The tank includes a 600mm (24in) diameter top entry manway, level instruments (shown on the following skids page), 3 spray balls designed to clean down instruments and various raised face slip on anges. A Skid System to match this tank is dealt with on page 15.

This Skid System was manufactured in 2024 to match the Potent Waste Storage Tank described on page 12.
The tank was delivered 2 months in advance to allow the civils contractor to install this in the open concrete pit. This skid system then was still being con gured and designed while the actual stainless tank construction could be started in advance. The consulting engineer supplied Kent with a P&ID which was then transformed into the skid design shown using SolidWorks 3D Modelling. This incorporated all components which aligned with the client/end user piping speci cation and preferred vendor list. In this case this included Centrifugal Pumps, Filter Housings with Glove Bag Arrangement, PH Monitoring, Flow Monitoring amongst others which all fed into the Electrical Marshalling Panel which was wired to the Control Panel and Automation System. The Automation System was part of Kent Stainless’ scope and was designed in conjunction with the customer’s Process Description. This skid measures 6300mm long x 2900mm wide x 2677mm high (248in x 114in x 105in). Weight was 4,452kg (9,815 lbs) and was securely mounted on to the tank. By using this OSM rather than a stick build process the mechanical installation of the skid onto the tank was approximately 4 days after shipping. On site risks were reduced signi cantly due to extensive FAT testing on our premises
