DESCRIPTION
The redevelopment of Battersea Power Station – a 39 acre site – began in 2013. Kent Stainless were commissioned to produce Street Furniture for this project in 2016.
Kent Stainless provided Battersea Swivel Seats, a kidney-shaped seat of modern design. Manufactured from Grade 316 Stainless Steel and Iroko Hardwood Timber, treated with three coats of Danish oil. Battersea CorTen Planters, with a rust-like patina which increases graffiti resistance. In-Ground Units (IGUs), with bespoke tray sizes and unit depths.
Additionally, we provided CorTen Cycle Stands, metallic-black powder-coated LED Handrails, Heelproof Ventilation Grilles (with a B125 Loading Class and Access Hatches to suit), bespoke Manholes, and Stairway Ventilation Grilles (to suit the surrounding balustrade)
