DESCRIPTION
In September 2014 DIT opened its new Campus at Grangegorman. The project will bring together all Dublin Institute of Technology’s colleges onto one site. The site is developed around some beautiful 19th century buildings including a former hospital and 2 churches. 10,000 students will be moved to this campus by 2017 and Dublin’s Luas Rail Line (for which Kent will also supply platform furniture) will connect to the area by 2020.
Kent Stainless helped design and build Interactive Wayfinding Informaton Pods/Kiosks for the site. These contained illuminated static screens, touch screens, emergency help buttons, security cameras and all server trays were accommodated in the kiosks themselves.
In addition Kent provided Wayfinding Finger Posts, Heelmesh Drainage Grilles and Channels, Dished Road Gully Covers. Our other main item was the 316L Stainless Steel Glazed Entrance.
