DESCRIPTION
Thames Water is responsible for the public water supply and wastewater treatment for large parts for the greater London area. It is the UK’s largest water and wastewater company and its coverage area serves 15 million customers. It also operates 348 sewage treatment works.
In 2015 Kent Stainless subsidiary Solids Technology Ltd. Supplied 3nr P525 Filter Belt Presses to this site.
This project was a replacement project, the roof was removed to facilitate the removal of old units and their replacement with 3 new Belt Presses. The performance rating of the new Belt Presses was a Loading of 750kgDS/hr, with a minimum of 21% Dry Solids.
