DESCRIPTION

LSE’s Centre Building, a state of the art flexible and highly sustainable academic and teaching building. It contains 12 floors with a large range of Departments, Meeting Rooms, lecture theatres and a large ground floor café. Kent Stainless supplied bespoke stainless steel box channels and heelmesh gratings items to Maylim Ltd. The site is situated in the centre of LSE right on Houghton Street. Kent Stainless range of box channel with heelmesh grating was used on the exterior of the building perfectly designed around the edges of the building and pillars. Our Double Wedge Heelmesh Grating was supplied as a 5mm bar and 5mm gap perfectly suited for a high pedestrian traffic were heelmesh is absolutely necessary. Our Kent Demarcation studs were dotted around the boundary of the building for ease of demarcation. All products were delivered as grade 316 stainless steel to ensure to longevity of the products but also to help against the high salt and sand spread in the winter in this area.
