Project Overview
Kent Stainless supplied custom-designed dual-purpose bollards for a stadium’s public realm, designed for both power and potable water access. Made from Grade 316L stainless steel, the bollards were specially engineered for the harsh seaside, marine location to support outdoor events and maintenance.
Key Features
- Grade 316L Stainless Steel: The bollards were constructed using Grade 316L stainless steel for maximum durability and corrosion resistance in marine environments.
- Bright Satin Finish: Finished with Kent Stainless’ “Bright Satin” finish, the bollards provide superior protection against corrosion while maintaining an aesthetically appealing look.
- Dual-Purpose Functionality: Each bollard provides both power and water access, making it a versatile solution for outdoor events and stadium maintenance.
- Prewired Electrical Panel: The bollards are equipped with factory-tested, prewired electrical panels, offering a combination of single-phase and three-phase power options.
- Safety Features: Each bollard is fitted with an isolator and individual RCBO protection for each socket, ensuring safety during use.

- IP66 Rating: The complete bollard unit is IP66 rated when in the closed position, offering full protection from dust and water ingress.
- Operational Access: The bollard remains fully operational with the door closed, thanks to cable entry/exit slots at the base, ensuring uninterrupted service.
- Separate Water and Electrical Access: A separate access door isolates the water connections from the electrical components, allowing for safe operation and maintenance of both utilities.
