Pop Up Double Contained Firewater Containment Drain

The KVCRPDC400/4”/6”RD is a double contained or dual skinned. It has a round body with round top and its bottom outlet is typically 4”SCH10 surrounded by a 2nd skin 6” SCH10 for double containment.

This is a sealed cleanroom floor drain gully which can be opened remotely or sealed immediately in the event of a requirement. This drain was designed specifically for the Pharmaceutical sector and is in use in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Belgium, Holland, Singapore. The pneumatic cylinder is highly corrosive and acid resistant. When connected to the in-house air supply system each gully can be opened by a local rotary switch on the wall, or from a remote location. The opening can also be activated by connection to the sprinkler system by means of a sensor.
