RTPI Touchscreen Totem

The Kent RTPI Touchscreen Totem KRTT/3673 is constructed from Grade 316L Stainless Steel with enamel panels. It measures 3673mm high x 776mm wide x 250mm deep. The top 776mm x 250mm illuminated beacon panel is customisable to any logo. An RTPI (Real Time Passenger Information) is housed just below which in this case was supplied by Daktronics (Data Display). On the opposite side a second RTPI is housed below giving a double sided RTPI with a very small footprint.

At eye level is a touchscreen, or a backlit map panel, depending on the location. 10mm Toughened Glass Panels cover a reverse mounted poster. The monoliths were designed and manufactured for the Luas Cross City tram line in Dublin and formed part of a suite of furniture designed by RPA/TII and manufactured by Kent Stainless. The suite contained blue enamel panels and grade 316L stainless throughout.
The Kent ‘2 Stage’ installation process can be chosen as an optional extra and allows the paved area to be completed with a temporary base-box. The monolith panel can then be stored and protected elsewhere until site is due for completion and is simply fixed mechanically to the base box.
