Double Contained Side Outlet Sealed Gas Tight Process Waste Drain

The KHCRDC265/4”/6”RD Floor Drain Gully is a Side Outlet Double Contained or Twin Walled or Dual Skinned drain for Process Waste Areas in a Pharmaceutical Factory.

It is used for areas which use hazardous chemicals and is opened with a heavy duty suction cup.
In most cases a dual 4”/6” or a dual 6”/8” outlet is used because these are most popular with American Multinational Pharmaceutical companies who have scheduled stainless steel pipework to connect to, but this can easily be substituted for a 110mm/160mm or 160mm/220mm outlet pipe.

It is trapped as standard with the Kent Weit Trap on most European projects.
For the North American market, there is no internal trap – this is created by a running trap external to the drain by the MEP contractor.
