Scope
In 2020, Kent Stainless was approached to provide pharmaceutical drainage for Estée Lauder’s expansion in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The drainage consisted of 18inch / 450mm wide trench drains approximately 150 linear feet long. The trench channels contained 10 sealed outlets which worked as firewater evacuation drains. These outlets remained sealed until activated by the sprinkler system – upon activation they would all pop up and allow the contaminated discharge to flow to a containment sump.
