Stainless Steel Recessed Access Cover. The Kent Thames Water (TW) Hinged Lift Assist (HLA) Recessed Access Covers are a single tray hinged lift assisted recessed access cover. These covers can be opened and closed easily by a single operator making them ideal maintenance covers.

OFWAT’s Codes for Adoption finalised in 2020 includes these recessed covers in the code for newly built assets offered for adoption.

The covers have a robust stainless-steel hinge and have keying in mesh to allow block adhesion with epoxy mortar. The Kent lift-assist mechanical struts to allow the covers to be opened with a force compliant with manual handling regulations.
