Our Stainless Steel Tactile Warning Strips take the form of either Corduroy Ridge Paving Strips or Diamond Tactile Strips. The Corduroy Ridge Strips are ideal for use as step indicators and should be perpendicular to the direction of travel. They are best used indoors where they remain dry especially for Rail or Metro Projects where they are used as indicators for direction of travel. Then studs are used alongside in conjunction with the strips to indicate the change in direction of travel Stainless Steel Diamond Tactile Strips are a better choice for outdoor use or where there cannot be 1 particular direction of traffic guaranteed to be perpendicular to the orientation of the strips. Ridges are formed in both directions. Both types are perfect for use on railway platforms. We manufacture both types of part M hazard warning strips from a solid piece of grade 316 stainless steel as standard and can offer in grade 304 stainless.
